I can't even begin to describe what this movie has done to for me, but it truly blew me away.

When I first heard of this movie, it was through Tommee Profitt's platform when he talked about how a fan of his music took his latest single at the time — Forbidden Fruit — and used it to make a fan edit with clips from Kpop Demon Hunters. The movie is a Netflix original and was brand new at the time, so I had no context at all for what it was about or what the plot was. All I knew at the time was that it's a new animated movie that became an instant global phenomenon and — through the fan edits — made Tommee Profitt's single one of the biggest of his career.

I didn't have access to Netflix at the time, so I couldn't watch it for months, but when I got it back, I took a watch, and I was instantly hooked. Songs like Free, Golden, and Your Idol broke me to my core, certain scenes were heartbreaking cause they hit very close to home, and the movie overall shockingly pushed very strong Christian themes and values. In fact, @RyderTheOmniscient on YouTube made the video, "Netflix Accidentally Made A Christian Movie," explaining all the biblical themes and parallels exposed in the story. I call it "the Christian Netflix original that became an instant global phenomenon."

In conclusion, this movie and everything surrounding it changed my life forever in so many ways and I will always loud and proudly wear my love for it 🤍 Huntr/x forever!
