I’VE LEARNED SOMETHING
As an artist and creator, I’ve learned something recently:
Yeah, it’s good—healthy even—to level up your tactics, upgrade your resources, switch up your methods and all that. But there’s a time and a place for it, depending on what you’re making.
Other times? It’s better to just stick to your usual and keep things moving—quick, clean, efficient.
Sticking with the same methods for a while isn’t lazy or uncreative. It’s actually being mindful. Being smart about your time, how you use it, and protecting your mental energy.
Sometimes it’s fun to upgrade everything, make it all glittery and polished just because you can. Other times, it’s better to keep it basic, easy, simple, and effective.
For me personally, I run four different platforms. That’s a lot.
I handle everything myself—not because I can’t hire help, but because sometimes I trust myself more to get exactly what I want without compromises, endless back-and-forth, or petty revisions.
So when you’re balancing four platforms—two of them with multiple projects going—on top of a full-time job, taking care of your people, and still trying to be a human outside of being “online”…
Yeah, it becomes real important to keep things moving efficiently. No extra bullshit. And keep that spark of fun alive however you can.
Because at the end of the day… what’s the point of living if you’re not having fun?
You really wanna listen to all the noise in the world—and those annoying-ass voices in your head? Both full of shit anyway?
Yeah… I’m good on that.
I’ll just be me and do me.
And honestly, that’s what God wants, right? Do right by Him, do right by yourself, keep it moving. Life keeps going.
It’s a good day to be human. Breathing deep. Walking on your own two feet.
Go hug somebody. Kiss somebody. Cuddle up. Or at least give someone some real encouragement.
We’re here until we’re not.
Might as well live it up.
Live while we’re young.
